So I may only be a sophomore right now, but my teacher wants me to start preparing for a senior solo now! I'm happy though. Anyway, he suggested I check out the Mozart and Weber bassoon concertos [both only wrote one to my knowledge] saying that either should work. I'm looking to see if anyone has any opinions either of these.
~~~~~~
I am looking for opinions (for both if possible) on...
*Difficulty in speed
*Difficulty in range
*Difficulty in general
*Sound (Do you like the piece overall?)
*Sound (Do you like the bassoon part?)
*Enjoyment (How fun is playing it?)
*ANYTHING ELSE you can think of
~~~~~~~
I know it's a lot, but if your opinions are greatly appreciated no matter how much you can contribute

OK...
I checked everything out, and personally I'd go with mozart, mostly because I like the way it sounds.
If you're on the edge, maybe you could do a little of both. Only do the first part of mozart, and a little of Weber, then maybe blend in a little Super Mario as well.
