I play on a Fox Renard 220 and for the most part tuning is not a problem, however my high A can be unbareably sharp. I have tried adjusting my embrouchure and a few alternate fingerings none of which could completely help. I'm desperate and looking for suggestions.

try making your embrochure rounder. I have the same problem on...hmmm....C Sharp 3 all the way up. XD
