Hi - I'm a composer and I just wanted to ask if this bassoon part is playable in terms of finding enough time to breathe?

(Please note: tempo: crotchet = ca. 40 b.p.m, dynamics: piano, the staccato markings and the repeat)

It is playable. Crotchet at 40 BPM is time enough to take a large breath. As the dynamics is p and it is not in the lowest register it does not take very much air. In an orchestral setting we would probably be two bassoons, so we could take turns.
