Does anyone know of a good way to get that black circle or smudge that sometimes forms on the tip of your bocal, near the reed, due to the reed being put on and off i think.

Im assuming that the black you see on the tip of your bocal is tarnish. If thats the case, then i dont think there`s much you can do about that.

Silver polish. The same thing you do with any tarnish. Assuming you have a silver bocal.
