I am selling my Fox Model III Bassoon.

Serial #3216 Built Circa 1971

This was one of 2 (to the best of my knowledge) of the redesigned Model III`s that was passed around to professional players as a demo. The bassoon ended up in the hands of Matthew Ruggerio (who apparently kept it for a while) and was used in a few Boston Symphony concerts. I got the Bassoon through Donald Bravo in 1976 and have owned it since.

The Bassoon is in excellent condition and includes a Heckel (post war) CC2 Bocal and a Fox CV1 Bocal both without dents.
Right & Left thumb rollers, High D key etc.
Original case. The main case is intact, but the reinforcing bands at the corners are in bad shape from drying out and cracking.
