I have the hardest time reading tenor cleff. Does anyone have any tips on how to memorize it?

well, its just like the treble. the only difference is that you would play/sing the notes one octave lower.

I`ve been reading tenor clef since I started playing. Just remember that the line in the middle of the 3-like figure is middle C. So the lines spell out D, F, A, C, E and the spaces spell out E, G, B, D. Once you read it for a while, it becomes second nature and easy to play...Good luck!

yeah third guy`s right not sure what second guy`s talkin bout. tenor cleff is hard at first but you just gotta play it and it`ll get to be almost as easy as reading bass cleff. It took me about 3 months to learn mind i did have private lessons but still it just takes practice.(like you`ve never heard that before)

Just practice bass clef and tenor clef alot. After playing them constantly, your fingers will automatically switch clefs when you see them change...This comes in very useful in many orechestra parts, where the clefs change constantly
