Its kind of choppy. Thats good for two years, but it needs more variety. I tihnk if you were keeping time you kind of got off a little bit. Try using a basic Bb blues and working on solo`s first.

Holy cow you guys give the guy a break. I think it sounded awesome for hist SECOND year of playing, think of what you sounded like after 2 years, stop comparing him to yourselves now. I think he sounded great and has a pretty big set of balls to post that solo on the internet to be criticized by everyone, I think he can be good. As far as the high C goes, people develope differently, some develope tone and technique before range- the route I took, now I am completely satisfied in both, stop knit-picking a beginner.
Good solo man

Good 4 two years but you need to practice    01:24 on Thursday, July 7, 2005

That was good for it only being your 2nd year of playing but you should practice more. I say within a year record yourself again after practicing really hard and see how much you improved.

that was a good solo. lets see... i would have been in 6th grade in my second year. thats a whole lot better than i was then. but starting in 8th grade i have been kickin chairs. always top band, top few chairs. and all you people need to loose the trumpet ego. you will get nowhere.
