Hi I`m Sarah from Victoria, Australia. I`ve been playing trumpet for 3 years and I need some advice. I really want to be able to hit the high C above the stave, should I work on making my lips tough? I use a lip conditioning balm to make then soft, is that bad for my playing although it`s good for my lips? Any advice or personal thoughts are accepted, I appreciate anyone who can help.
