What makes music good.
I don`t know about anyone else, but I just can`t stand 80s
music. This got me thinking, is music good, or is it all in the ear of the listener. How come people hate country but love rap, and how come people hate pop, but love techno?
How come we still listen to beatoven, and yet disco is dead?
Obvously something makes music good, but what.

it`s not the ears that can tell whether one genre of music is better than the other. it`s the memory behind all music that makes them good. whose memory? yours!
i believe that many scholars have argued about this problem, i mean arguing the aesthetical and bla bla bla of music. but i remember as a child a good music in my ears; my father`s chanting.
and i`m sure, u don`t want to hear it!

Interesting.
Speaks loads about the human mind. I remember being very young, every sunday morning my family and I would all sit down to eat breakfast, and my dad would pop in a casett,
Bob Bennett, to this day I still love that type of music.
I think your right about it having a lot to do with memory.
