hi,
i found the sax music sheet for careless whisper on your site. however i am unable to find the chart to play the low octave A on that sheet.

the notes are at:
http://www.8notes.com/school/riffs/saxophone/george_michael_careless_whisper.asp
i`m referring to the low A, at the second to last bar. can someone please tell me what the fingering for that note is??

thanks!!!

Try http://www.wfg.woodwind.org .
It`s the most comprehensive resource for woodwind fingering charts I`ve found. Give it a go.

It is not possible to hit that note on tha saxophone; I suggest playing it up an octave.

Only some new Yamaha Bari saxes have a low-a key

try fingering low B flat, dropping your embouchure, and covering up most of the horn`s bell with your leg or knee...

correction; many bari saxes have a low A, not only yamahas. AND, there are altos with low A`s, for example some mark vi`s were made with them.
