Tenor Sax is a little easier than Alto because it can do alot of the high stuff alto does and alot of the low stuff Bari can do, so pick tenor. It`s alot of fun to play!

tenor can`t get all that low.
Alto has far more of a range than tenor. If you want to play high, get a soprano. If you want to play low get a bari. If you want to stay in the middle get a tenor. If you want to do a bit of everything, get an alto.

I`ve played saxophone for years. It has been one of the greatest pleasures of my life. Every instrument is hard especially if you take it seriously and want to succeed at doing it well. The sax is definitely a great choice of instruments. The only suggestion that i have is tenor saxophone. It has a very seductive and mellow attitude.. it`s more pleasing to the ear than the alto.
