In the Bible in John 3:16 it says that

Well, I probably should go to church… but I don’t like being force fed beliefs, which I guess is what happens at school. I’d rather do what you said and look up the bible for myself and learn and decide what I want to believe. See at school (by the way, I go to a catholic school) we kinda get told what is and isn’t true in the bible, and I’m like “oh… gee, thanks” cause a lot of it, I believed in. have you ever had that? Like, at school or anywhere? Been told that “oh, yeah, that garden of eden stuff… it’s all symbolic, didn’t happen.” That’s basically what we get told, and it’s sorta hard then to believe much else. Can you see where I’m coming from? I guess I find it simpler not to be a staunch catholic… hey, by the way, you said you’re Christian, but what denomination, if you don’t mind me asking? It’s quite interesting how people can all be “Christian” yet their beliefs can be so separate. But yeah… oh, that’s right… Christian music – tell me one song to download…. What, in your opinion, is the best one?
Ok, this is a weird question, but hey… what do you think happens after you die? I mean, what is your image of heaven?

Find someone outside the band if necessary who can chart out the music. College cats work cheap. You might find another band who`d be willing to share their charts for free. Learn how to chart yourself. Jamey Aebersold has lots of books that would help in this subject go to http://www.jajazz.com also check out http://www.band2day.com Grand opening to be announced in July 2003

If you study theory & ear training
you will automatically learn how to do this. Give yourself two or three months and you`ll be amazed.
Aebersold has an ear training book with 2 CD`s that he wrote, I believe it`s called ear training for Jazz. A good basic theory book that covers all the basics triads, scales, scale harmony, intervals, etc. Lenny Picket also has a book for $1.50 (through Aebersold) which is great. It`s a small handbook on developing your ear. Just a lot of tips and practical ideas for practice.

hey jana,

i`ve just got back from a holiday yesterday. On the plane they played stuck. It`s cool, i like! i gotta admit it`s not what i expected of a christian artist. I guess that kinda has a bit of a stigma attached to it - a stereotype. she`s not what i expected, though its cool stuff!! I sorta sat there listening thinking that i guess i expected it to be easy to tell that she was a christian from her music... but i really don`t think it is. Is "out of eden" the same kinda music? i really wish i could find them, cause i`ve read all sorts of bios and that, and i think i`d like them, but i can`t find any music have you bought the cd`s or did you find the mp3`s somewhere? i`ll keep looking...

any other suggestions?
