You should check out "Rock this Town," "Big Noise," "Chattanooga Choo Choo," "Tuxedo Junction," "In the Mood," "Satin Doll," and "Sing, Sing, Sing." Oh, the possibilities are endless!! ~Ann~

Hey you should try listening to the "Kings of Swing" CD for suggestions... there`s this one track on there that I absolutely love... I believe it`s called "It Don`t Mean a Thing" by Matt Dusk (he`s the same guy that`s on "The Casino")... when I hear it, it makes me wanna get up and dance! But yeah, you should definitely check that out for some great swing music for your band... and good luck with that!

Hey! Yeah, that sounds like great stuff. Sing sing sing, Hey Pachuco, Zoot Suit Riot, and if you want another one (cuz i know most marching programs have 4 songs)that lots of people will recognize, look into either It Don`t Mean a Thing (If it aint got that swing)- Louis Armstrong sang that one, or Jump, Jive, `n Wail by The Brian Setzer Orchestra! Mr. Pinstripe and Jumpin` Jack by the Big Bad Voodoo Daddies are also great songs. If you find the sheet music and what not for all of these, please let me know. I LOVE swing music, and I want our Marching band to play it, but we haven`t been able to find any music. I`ve been looking for a while now. But yeah, look into the Brian Setzer Orchestra, Big Bad Voodoo Daddies, Cherry Poppin Daddies, and The Stray Cats. Thanks! Good Luck, too!

back 2 jazz i know some great tunes for jazz band "China Grove" and "Birdland" are really cool. I`m not sure of who makes them but they are cool songs. For marching band, if u already got ur show made out then peppy songs in the stands go well. We play things like "Crazy Train" and "Smoke on the Water" and some others, but songs like that are really cool.
