It's fun to run over judges at competitions, even though we're only supposed to do that if they're in our way . has anyone else ever been hit by the guard? I got hit last year by the guard captain, she did a spin and i was right next to her, and her flag hit right on my bell, and it jammed my clarinet up into my mouth and it was right at the beginning of a run through, so lets just say i tasted blood for 7 minutes lol. oh and we had this guy get hit on the nose by someone's flag, so he needed a band-aid but the only one's we had were hello-kitty :O

there's no such thing as a slide trumpet... u mean the slide trombone? Anyways, i play recorder very fluently, i am going to play trombone when i get to 6th grade. And I am learning guitar. Plus I sing! That's a natural instrument!

Who has on-field judges in their state? I know we don't.

In va we have field judges at our big competions like VBODA state festival and JMU parade of chamions.

We don't have any at any of our competitions, even finals. I hear ther is a BOA Regional being held in KY @ Murray State University. I'm going to try to go & see some of you who comnpete in BOA.
