so here is a question that SOMEONE must have experience with. my instructor notified me that i hum when i play. this causes a horrific double buzz (hurts the ears) and i cant really stop it. The humming is completely involuntary now and i need to stop it. does anyone have any tips. i play Horn btw

I can't suggest a solution but can tell you that Alfred Brendel's recordings are made (to me) even more interesting because he always hums whilst playing...and the humming is totally out of tune. Fascinating!
