I have a huge interest in music, I study it at school and I've been playing the violin for 8 years. I've also wanted to play the cello since I was really young, but my parents have only just agreed to let me start next year. I was wondering if 14 is too old to get really good? Also, for a beginner, how much practise time per day would be necessary to get good really quickly? Thanks

Hi,
I started playing the guitar when I was 13. Now I am 14, I can play easy parts using tabs and notes. Planning to learn further) I am not a cello musician but in my opinion it is never too late to try something new
