I totaly agree with you! I dont know if this one was on this site but I think it was.... The husband says hunny im gonna ride you like a violin and she says I would rather you ride me a like a harmanica That is just plan valgur! I THINK VIOLIN JOKES SHOULD GO!

I personally don't like the vulgar jokes, but I must admit, I think the corny ones are hilarious! I guess it depends on the context the jokes are being told in...if somebody was telling a violin joke in hopes of actually offending a violinist, then I wouldn't appreciate it, but if the joke is just meant for fun, I really enjoy them.

Oh my gosh. I can't believe a bunch of whimpy violinist are actually complaining about stupid jokes. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO COMPLAIN!! We do, though, the violists of the world have been told so many horrible jokes bashing us and saying how horrible and out-of-tune we play. I have to admit, these joke do apply to some people, just not all. I don't know why anyone would wwant to make a petition against stupin violin jokes. Jeez, get a life people!!

You can't petition for people to stop telling violin jokes. Amendment number one to the U.S. Constitution: Freedom Of Speech.Telling bad violin jokes is a right. Just deal with it. You're not the only ones getting bashed. Try being an oboe for a day, we don't have it that great either, especially since people stereotype us based on the bad or beginner oboists.
