I am on grade one, studying grade two. I was just wondering if anyone could suggest a peice with a fast, traditional theme.(preferably easy!)

well this will only make sense to u if ur from aust - try getting the AMEB grade 3 book - there is a tradional song in there that i am studing now called carnival of vence - not very fast but some grovy sections.

as i allways reccomend. suzuki books are perfect. very reconizable tunes for any skill player.

I know this question is kind of old, but just in case you look at it again, there is a pretty, upbeat piece called the Irish Washerwoman. Actually, I found that piece on this website. It is really easy but you can play it as fast as you want.
