how do you make your pizzicato sound louder? i tried playing with it but i guess it needs more volume....any tips?

You have to pluck the string nearer to the fingerboard, or even better above the finger board, somewhere in the middle of where your finger is and the bridge, or the middle of the open string, this way the string will vibrate the most and be louder. near the bridge its just like, "sorry can't be bothered" it does involve moving your arm down to pluck with the first finger of the bow hand (while still holding the bow - though you probably do that anyway). you don't have to get your finger right around it or anything, but keeping it a little stiff might do it, just about the middle of the string, for the greatest resonance

And don forget to pluck a bit harder. Cause some people are afraid they'll break the strings and they usually tend to pluck the strings softly which makes the pizzicato sound soft. Hope it helps
