i have just changed the g string to dominant as it snapped. others i left them as they are as they are still pretty good.
although kiyoshi (my violin...yea i named it...) is china made but it has a solid and loud sound.
here's my dilemma
1. after i changed the g string, i noticed that it is not as loud and clear as previously... it sounded a little muffled
is it something wrong or it should take a few more days to break in... since i'm a beginner, i'm just playing open g string to try to break in the string... anyone with similar muffling (ahahha) issue?
2. my A string is acting up too... not sure it is my bowing technique or... but previously it was ok until after 2 weeks of playing... not sure how to explain but it's like screeching sometimes... i tried to bow harder or softer or different angles but still the same... i tried putting more rosin or put lesser rosin, still the same...
not sure it's the correct term "screeching" i mean... or is it called as whistling or wolfing?
help?
thanks
