I've been taking private lessons for 4 months (I haven't had that many lessons though due to my teachers conflicts), and I'm flying through the suzuki books- I'm already more than half way through book 2. I'm 18 years old, and I learn quickly and it has all come really naturally for me and I already knew how to read music before starting. I'm moving soon and I really can't afford private lessons anymore, but I'm afraid if I teach myself I will develop bad habits. And, I love the suzuki books (which aren't for teaching yourself). I was looking into www.ebaru.com but the books seem like they're for little kids. Does anyone have any suggestions... what should I do?

I've been playing vioin for almost six years but was self taught for the first three and what I did a lot is went on websites, look for books (thats how I found 8notes) and if it seems like your doing something wrong, you could just post a question here at 8notes but here is a website that is very helpful with techniques and stuff like that and always remember to DO those scales!!!!!!
