Hi all. I'm starting to practice some violin after a very long break. Previously, I learned up to the fourth position, but would like to learn the exact location of the higher ones (I'm doing it by ear right now for the couple of notes I need). I'm wondering if there are any images online similar to that found in the Muller Rusch books, which shows whether there is a half or full space between each note. Or maybe there is a systematic way of determining this; I never really learned any theory so I'm not sure. Thanks in advance!

I found this fingerboard diagram helpful: www.violinonline.com/fingerboard_chart.htm. As a player returning from a break myself, I DON'T recommend the 'don't fret' sticker that covers most of your fingerboard. They are a nightmare to get off when you no longer need them.
