I'm curious on exactly how you would be able to convert Piano tabs/sheet music to Violin form. I know it is possible I just don't know how. I've recently looked into playing "Chasing Cars" On the violin and haven't found a single music sheet or tab. Closest was Piano so far. Any help with turning this into Violin form would be nice.

Thanks for your time :D

anything you play on a piano is two notes higher than on violin. so all you need to do is rewrite it all two notes lower on the staff.

Sometimes if you can find the vocals to it (the music i mean) that is good to play off, that is generally some of the melody. if not the notes on the treble clef staff might be helpful, because that is also usually the melody, the bass clef stuff is just there to make it sound nice, (don't play piano, but thats what i know from my limited experience of trying to play something from piano/vocals)

If you play the piano, find the melody of the music and play that on the violin. It is usually, but not always, the top note of the notes/chord.

You should not have to move the notes up two.
