Hello!!

I am currently attempting to gather data regarding the performance and study frequency of certain classical violin, viola, cello and double bass pieces. Please following the link below to access the survey.

No personal information (except for your level of expertise) will be requested.

The survey should take between 2 and 7 minutes to complete.

Thanks again for your participation!! Have a great day!!

I tried to answer your survey, but I had a number of problems.

1) I am not a member of the set of any of the groups of people mentioned. i.e. I am strictly an amateur musician.
2) I am not sure what you meant by performed or studied regularly. Do you mean me or in general?
3) I tend to find that pieces come under the following:

play through a couple of times and it is obvious that I will never be able to play it.
play through a couple of times and decide that it is not worth the effort of being able to play it
study until satisfied and then go on to something else
study on and off
study and keep playable for the occasion that a solo is needed.

These days, I tend to play mainly orchestral music and chamber music (mainly because of circumstances)

Final point, it is regarded as being polite to say what the survey is for. It may help your chances of getting useful results if you were to rectify this ommision.
