maybe there`s some books that tell you how to change the strings on it, or maybe some websites...or what I would do...just to be sure it`s restringed and tuned the right way, I would go to a music store where they sell music insruments and get it restringed and tuned there...thats what I did with mine when I got it...
bye

This is how you restring ... very very carefully!

Just be sure to restring one string at a time, and do not tune completely until all 4 new strings are on (otherwise you are wasting your time.)

Loosen one peg and remove the string, then thread the string through the peg, and wind 1-2 times, then thread the bottom end to the tail piece. Tighten the string, but not completely. Repeat with all 4 strings, then tune normally.

On the tailpiece; put the ball through the hole and just let it sit in the slot. If it`s a loop; put the loop through the hole and put the other end of the string through the hole on the other side. What`s it called? A slip knot?
