Well, you can always ask him if he has time for a quick coffee.
You`d be surprised at how often they do - especially on the way back to the airport.
(I don`t know if this holds true for musicians, but it does for lecturers).

Say how much you admire them.
Maybe you could ask for a few tips and get them talking on their own.
You never know it could be your only chance so go for it mate.

I don`t think it`s weird or rude. He may not have time, but chances are he`ll appreciate your approach - and what the hey - the worst he can say is no.
...but then again he might say yes...
...go for it.

Ok great! I`ll definately try. Yr right it couln`t be any worse than what seems to be a `no`. May feel slightly embarassed, but I`m sure he`d not be that rude to trash me a straight `no` in the face. Thanks guys!
