Hi. Why are you starting all these threads? I like to read stuff in here and my mom says it`s okay to read and ask questions but I don`t think you are supposed to keep asking them over and over all over the place. I`m 9 and I only get to read where my mom says I can. Where`s your mom does she check what you are doing too? Why is your spelling so bad? I play the violin too but I don`t leave it in the car, not ever. It will crack just like your teacher said.

I think it depends on the climate and how long you leave it for, but generally you shouldn`t leave a violin in a car at all.

Yes i agree. It depends where you live and depends on the temperature outside. If it`s a day where you would be happy sitting in a parked car yourself, then by all means leave the violin there. if not, don`t.

Ok,
Well I see your concern for your instrument, and that is good. I,myself, dont play the violin, but I play the guitar and piano. As with and music lesson I take I treat it as that , A LESSON! The teacher odviously knows more than the student so listen to them. Even though it may not seem that the sun can damage your violin, I`m sure it can warp the strings, and bend the neck. This happend to my guitar when I accidentally left it out of its case, in the sun. The violin is a much smaller instrument and I`m sure the effects would be amplifiesd to a violin.
