If you want to take a bass tab and translate it go to www.mxtabs.net and go to bass tabs, under theme songs or theme music it should be there. The way I play it, it starts on an E:

E,E,E,B,E,G.

thats the first phrase of it

well theres sites out there go to google and search mario theme song and there should be some with tabs

you can just print out the piano part and play the line wit hthe treble clef

i know the song but i`ll tell u in fingering because it takes to long to write down with notes. by the way 0 means open string, By the way if i dont put a sharp (#) next to it than it`s natural and this means flat (b) . ok so it goes 0e 0e 0e 2A 0E 2E 3D 2A 3D 1D 0A 1A 1A(b) 0A 3D 0E 2E# 3E 1E# 2E# 2A# 3A 1A. I`m sorry but this is all i know and maybe one or two notes are wrong but it sounds good to me all right hope u have fun with it. OH! yeah by the way before u play it try to humb or wistle the song because if u dont know the rythem it wont sound like anything so please do that be cause it helps.
