You don`t, that`s why you have a violin teacher.

Basically, you really need a teacher who can be constantly on your back about getting your pitch right to know where to put your fingers. As for "fingering tape", well, it`s actually just sticky labels cut up thinly. Or you can use liquid paper (it eventually wears off and doesn`t harm the violin)

This should be easy:
(a) What violin did the great violinist Paganini Play?
(b) What was it named?
(c) Why was it named that?
(d) Who made that violin and when
(e) Name 5 characteristics of this violin.
And another thing, who is a better maker in your opponion, del gesu or Strad?

BTW, I`m like you too. 14. Played for 5 years (this is my 6th). In a very prestigeous youth orcestra (were the national chapions in Canada).
Have fun :D

Gold and silver shouldn`t react very much with anything. (hence why we use it for our jewelry.)

Hi, what is the best violin to get if you`re just starting. I have been wanting to get one for a while, but I don`t know what to get. Also along with a violin and a bow, what else do I need?

The only other thing you need is rosin, though most people also have a shoulder rest. As for what is best, there`s no simple answer to that, it depends on your budget for a start.
