Check out the band From Zero. They just released their new album "My So-Called Life" on May 6. They are a great band from Chicago signed to Arista Records. If you like hard-rock, you`ll like them. Also-just in case you don`t have it, get their first CD "One Nation Under" which was released in 2001.
