well...let`s look at the facts shall we? mcr is a hot modern band that is quite successful. whether or not you think they have talent or not, that`s your opinion. but regardless they`re making money and have lots of tour dates. and who`s going to watch them play? people who think they`re |=uckin awesome. like myself. so my point is that u haters shouldn`t be douche bags and diss our taste in music because it`s our |=ucking opinion. go ahead. say they suck. but there are a lot of people who strongly disagree

I have to say that I think My Chemical Romance is the best band ever. I just heard the remake they did of the Misfits song (which was my favorite Misfits song to begin with) Astro Zombies and I LOVE it. I actually like it more then the original. I LOVE Helena, the video is so beautiful, the lyrics are so emotional, the meaning is so sweet, and the instruments RULE! But nothing can beat their song Our Lady Of Sorrows. That has been my favorite song since I first heard it, in 2002. And not only are the lyrics moving and meaningful and the instruments are wonderful but just look at them! They are like the deffinition of HOT DAMN! I`ve thought that since I laid my eyes on them, and ladies I`m sorry to say this (not really) GERARD ARTHUR WAY IS MINE BITCH! Lol. Yes I know his middle name... I am his official stalker! Tee hee...
But I like other bands to, and I listen befor I look so don`t say I only think they are awesome because Gerard looks oh so good in a uniform...or jeans...or in his skeleton pjs...anyways, I`m not a shallow person, I listen then I look and I am proud to say that I love My Chemical Romance.

Recently attended MCR concert-opener Alkaline Trio-Excellent! Overuse of profanity by Gerard really took away from his performance. He and the band may not turn out to be classic but they do have a presence on stage. To each his own.

I love practically all of their songs, but I have seen them live and there is a lot of room for improvement ... still, you can`t blame them for getting famous so fast- most bands have years and years to improve at what they do before they hit it big time, but they have been thrown in at the deep end so they are bound to be criticized. (especially since most rock lovers etc. are extremely critical these days, classing almost everything as `mainstream pop` or something)

I can see what they mean about the whole over-commercialized thing, and I personally don`t like I`m Not Okay (too whiny, repetitive and clean sounding) but prefer more grungy kinda music with lots going on. However, what p1sses me off is that people are holding the commercial image thing against them. Eeerr, hello, but if you look at all the classic rock bands they all looked the same (tight leather trousers, long hair, bikes etc) then there is sh1t like slipknot (saw them live sadly, it was like watching an unusual pantomime with all those stupid masks... obviously not about the music), so they are no better than My Chemical Romance. There always have been `the image` to have if you are a rock star or whatever, so there is nothing bad about them doing it now right? They may be overrated in your opinion, but you should try and look at their music more on the terms that they haven’t been around long, rather than how well-known their name is. They didn`t say they deserve to be so successful it was us who put them their. Basically, GIVE THEM A BRAKE. Oh and I`m so p1ssed off with the whole rock scene at the moment, its become like a frikkin clan instead of a taste in music. Everyone’s like `emo is sh1t` or `what the hell do they look like` with new rock/greb/mosher fashion shops popping up everywhere, you are all turning into pompous, bitter geeks thinking younger people can’t listen to rock, and in doing so getting rid of the next generation of pop-haters. Music isn’t a deadly serious matter, so grow up.

Oh yeah, and Garret and Clyd, I like your taste in music (mostly) and me being from liverpool it helps in being a HUGE beetles fan but elvis .... His music sucks monkey, though I appreciate he was the starting point for rock, blah de blah whatever :O Oh yeh, and I`m not emo if its not just about the music, I`m always happy (apparently you have to be severely anorexic and depressed to be classed as emo) I just looove the build ups and emotional sh it in MCR`s songsyou have to listen for a while... they are like, toootally deep maan... far out...

They are awesome. I seen them inconcert and they played great. I had a great time and everyone there enjoyed themselves a lot. THEY ROCKED!!!
