Hi,

I`m working on a book called Talk the Talk: Authentic Slang from 65 American Subcultures, and have been trying to hunt down slang and informal words and phrases used by rock musicians and roadies--but I haven`t had much luck so far. I`m hoping there might be a couple of people here who are knowledgeable about this kind of thing and could suggest some terms, people to contact, or places to look. (Of course I`ve already Googled the subject in every way I could think of.)

And if you know anyone else who might be able to help and don`t mind forwarding this message to them, that would be great, too.

I`ve played a few gigs myself some years back, so I`m not completely ignorant of the terminology, but I need a lot more than I know to do justice to the subject. Any suggestions?
