I love Nirvana but i think that Cobains Death was overly publisised. I mean when Layne Stalley from Alice In Chains died no one really put out a big outcry. Back to topic i would have to say Hendrix is a bigger loss to the rock Community as he was probably the single greatest guitarist ever. I realise there are gunna be those pubeless 13 year olds that have heard one Nirvana song (smells like teen spirit) and none of Hendrix`s work who are gunna say Cobain without a doubt.
Your (educated) thoughts please

Yeah i agree. Cobain is a legend in his own right however since his death nirvana have become somewhat overrated. Great band and all but you cant deny legends such as hendrix, morrsion, lennon and jones.

I believe that Morrison, Jones and Joplin all died at the same age as Hendrix (27).

Cobain died at 27 as well. I agree Hendrix was more of a loss, even though Cobain was great.

Oye the fukwit who was saying that s hit before. Cobains death was heavily publisised as a great loss. Also my friends have been debating this issue quite alot so just give me a break.
