You actually think Ac/Dc & Nirvana are better than Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd & The Rolling Stones?...

HMMmm... Ok, you can go jump off a bridge now.

The reason why bands like The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, etc., are either not ranked in the top 10, high positions, or at all, is that while they were great bands with incredible influences on rock and roll in general, other bands like Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Van Halen, etc., had more of an influence on specifically heavy metal/ hard rock, than they did.

Pearl Jam, on the other hand, is right where they belong, or so I feel.

If you have more of a life than I do, and don`t want to make a list of 50, any comments on who to raise on the list, who to lower on the list, or who to add or drop from the list, will be taken into consideration.

Thank you for the comments.

You`re telling me Boston has had more hard rock influence on artists today than Nine Inch Nails? lol. Pearl Jam has to be in the top 10 any way you look at it, so do the Rolling Stones.

That should prove why Pearl Jam should be in the top 10.

Kiss seems relatively unpopular right now.

I`d like to know what other band you`d all want to see take their spot.

I personally like Kiss (may I also note they did rank in the top 10 on VH1`s list of the best hard rock bands), but if you all feel another band is more worthy so be it.

My vote would be for White Zombie, to take their spot.

How dare you call `Tool` nu-metal - Tool has been around much longer than Korn, & if you call Tool nu-metal, then Metallica is also nu-metal.. if Metallica is nu-metal, King Crimson is nu-metal, if King Crimson is nu-metal, then Black Sabbath is nu-metal.. the point?

TOOL IS IN NO WAY A NU-METAL BAND, JUST BECAUSE THEY`RE HEAVY DOESN`T MAKE THEM NU-METAL

Damn I have no respect for you.

A warning...

Any and all criticisms of me personally, will be reported the second I see them. I have never given any one member of this forum a reason to not like me, and all I`m trying to do is assemble a list, so post your personal criticisms else where.

Though I won`t report them, I would like all criticisms of any kind to be constructive and backed up. If you`re gonna criticize, at least look smart doing it.

Thank you, keep the lists/ suggestions coming.
