Wow. Everyone here likes only old bands. Boring. I must agree with Pink Floyd though. They'll always be in my top favs. I just saw Roger Waters live, amaaazing.

My favorites at the moment are The Dresden Dolls, The Hush Sound, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Panic! At The Disco, The Dears, Stone Sour, The Decemberists, Mastadon, and bunches more.

So many bands to choose! classic rock of course has to take top spots(PINK FLOYD!!!!). Outside of classic i love system of a down, godsmack, disturbed, metallica, gorillaz, etc. etc..and J-rock(L'Arc-en-Ciel!) I like alot things-as long asit's not rap im happy.

Now, as for music, it's all a matter of opinion.
All of those little b!tches that come on here dissing other people's likes and dislikes are no better than an uneducated prick.

They obviously know nothing of music just by the mere fact that none of them can find something they appreciate in the new modern tastes.

The first step of knowing music is appreciating something in all music.
Until then, allow the pricks to rage on about how classic kicks the new sound in music's ass.

They know nothing and are tripping to hard on drugs.

Hey, all music's good. it's there for everyone that's why it's so cool. just some bands seem to stand our more than others, whether they be from the 70's or now.

Umm yeah I said stuff like that about a year ago, when I was a mass stuck up, pretentious snob about what I listened to(like you are now). Why are you allowed to come on here and say modern rock is much better than classic, but no one else is allowed to say the reverse?
