i dont know if MCR is the best on the planet or if even top 1000 but 3 cheers for sweet revenge is one of my favorite albums

Man I can't wait til there is some massive backlash against this MCR pop punk rubbish. You guys who like that stuff will probably realise it's just a fad and go buy some grown up albums. And I will be able to listen to modern rock radio again without wanting to stick a screwdriver in my ear.

personally, i think that everyone has their own style of music that they like and no one has the right to bash another kind of music... there will always be something that u don't like and others will, so what right do you have to rain on their parade... plus to comment of rushisqueer's post... i'm 15 i love MCR... and all sorts of scremo, punk rock and emo music... but at the same time i think the world wouldn't be complete without composers like Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Bizet and many other timeless artists...without them no music today would be the same.

What i'm saying is that one day, when some revolutionary band comes along to put an end to pop punk and post grunge and all that, you're gonna realise it was all a fad and stop liking those bands. The same thing happened to arena rock and prog rock when punk came along and to hair metal when grunge came along. Personally this time around i'm hoping for something better than grunge.

I'm not saying you can't have your opinion, what i'm saying is that when your tastes mature a little, you'll start listening to bands with alot more substance than MCR and Fallout Boy

what bands would u be suggesting?... and i'll tell you what i think of them.

Well hopefully some awesome bands are just around the corner and you can listen to them. If not I recommend getting some records from the 1966-69 period and the post punk period(1978-84). But whatever listen to whatever you want, I don't care. I'm just hoping for some good modern bands to appear, so I don't have to keep ransacking the past for musical innovation

MCR sucks . they are emo pices of garbage and i dont classify them as "the best band on the planet". I cant stand there music

i dont really like anything by them but i remember hearing that one song....black parade or something and thought it had a great intro but the rest of the song made me turn off the radio.

ok... this mite b long but if ur smart u'll read it. i am like 20 years old. i listen to every kind of rock music i can think of so yea, that's alot of genres. like i grew up on metal nd classic rock but now my fave band is my chemical romance. i hate havin to hear ppl bash the band i like. i mean i never bash anyone's fave bands. nd didn't ur mothers ever teache u that if u got nothing nice to say dun sayin anything at all? i mean rele. u kids have no manners or respect for others. and let me just clarify that emo is short for emotional. all music is based on emotion wich makes all music emo. stop using emo as a stereotype for kids who cut themselves nd dress weird. there is alot more u kids don't kno so i suggest u all just shut up nd listen to ur own music nd stick to ur own lil cliques. dun disturb other ppl cuz u can't get along. well yea, that's about all i had to say. thanx for any smart person who actually read wut i had to say. nd i promise it's all about opinion but if it's hurtin sumone else it's best you keep it to yourselves.

a band should realize they dont rock when all of their fans are girls between the ages of 12 and 15.
