Yeah Metallica are amazing so are queen and ac/dc(back in black is definately the 2nd bets album ever) but none of them are quite as good as meatloaf hes done everything and hes still managed to not go too commercial thats just my opinion probably not the right one though. Bat out of hell is amazing and should be listened to and cherished for generations to come.
Also goldie lookin chain are amazin if they were a rock band theyd be number 1............but their not.
Linkin park are good as well but they can`t be considered the best, the good thing they have done for rock and roll music is brought it into the limelight again this is because the 90`s lacked any major breakthrough rock and roll bands.
Actually just saying that made me think hes nobody though of Oasis as a rock and roll band if u consider good charlote one then surely the gallaghers can be included, if whats the story isnt in everyones top ten albums then sumfins wrong.

you guys are so retarded only one person has mentioned the GREATEST band of all time...the band that rocked the most and played the best show despite there 90`s records besides 1991 sucking it doesnt matter...the obvious answer is METALLICA! They had the two greatest guitarists of all time! KIRK HAMMETT...JAMES HETFIELD...and they had an insane drummer by the name of LARS ULRICH...now u guys can go on about how they stabbed their fans in the back by their thing with napster but who cares...THE BAND WITH THE MOST TALENT AND THE MOST KICKASS SHOWS AND THE MOST ROCKIN` MUSIC WAS METALLICA!!!!!!!!!!!
