i need some rock music for my ipod. something like dragonforce, beast and the harlot by avenged sevenfold, sugar by system of a down. no screamo i dont like that stuff and if there is alittle screamo in it il take it. if u can find something like kamelot even though i like only one of their songs ( that be cool to. suggestions?

if you like a7x's stuff, you should look some of their older stuff from waking the fallen. that was their second album. SOAD has a lot of music out. a lot of their songs have really interesting time signature changes and harmony and stuff like that. tool has unique music as well. they do a lot with time signature. they do a little with harmony. you should look up the album "lateralus". if you are into good guitar, look up zakk wylde and black label society. that's about all i can think of at the moment. i hope that helps.

You should listen to bands that haven't sold out their sound to some large comglomerate label.

Post-Rock is usually a prudent choice.

Try "Pendulum" by Foundry. Bears and Twinks both love it.

don't listen to half of these people, they're crazy. if you're like me, then you like kamelot and dragon force because the guitar licks are amazing. you should really look into dream theater, they're the sh*t. also, "domination" and "in the dragons den" by symphony x are pretty good.

oh, and don't forget that you can't go wrong with some van halen. trust me, get as much van halen as possible.

Some good rock bands I like currently are Taking Back Sunday, Red Car Wire, Plain White T's, All Time Low, The Higher, and Melee. There are so many good bands these days.

I suggest Patrick Droney. He's a phenomenal guitar player / songwriter and hes only 16! It sounds a lot like breaking benjamin mixed with some creed guitar riffs. Good stuff,

The Wallflowers, Coldplay, and Queen. The Wallflowers have a great rhythm, Coldplay has cool lyrics, and Queen's got all of that and more.

Muse is good (black holes and revelations album is the most rock)

I can't find an album or anything like that but I'm going to keep checking back because the songs they put up are awesome.
It's like ambient progressive rock, I don't know how else to describe it.
