poison, white snake and Def lepard? You're promoting 1980's hair metal? That period of rock is the worst in history, don't come here insulting everyone else when you own taste is questionable. 'people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones'

A 14 yr old who listens to The Rolling Stones and good rock like that is 10 times more mature than the average 14 yr old that is obsessed with Soulja Boy. As a matter of fact you have to be quite mature to actually appreciate a lot of the older stuff rather than listening to a bunch of screaming. Don't get me wrong, I love Slipknot. I think Corey Taylor has an awesome voice and their percussion is pretty insane. I have never taken the time to listen to anything by Manson so I can't say much about him but to put Slipknot up with bands like The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Metallica.....must I go on??

Because obviously music preference determines someones maturity level.
