ok, god everyone, stop all of the hating toward certain music styles!!! i listen to a little bit of everything and i dont have respect for those people who decide that they are the one to determine what there is to like.that is so wrong...

what do i like??? nirvana, strokes, radiohead, hendrix, coldplay, afi, thrice, further seems forever, taking back sunday, thursday, zepplin, beatles, r.e.m., moby, distillers, sugar ray... and i am open to MANY OTHERS TOO *cough, cough* well, if anyone agrees or disagrees with me, i am open to feedback, and may kurt kobain live forever in our hearts and music.....

kristyna viglione, this is where you express your opinion. and, in my opinion, most new rock isn`t trying hard enough. they`re all showing you that as long as you can play a few strings on the guitar, bang on some drums, ATTEMPT to sing, and add some crappy lyrics that seem to mean the same thing on every other song that they have ever written, that you can become rich and famous without trying. which is true now. i will agree that it is wrong to hate a music style and or person because of a certain genre, but everyone has a right to their opinion. and when people start "preaching" about how something is wrong, it contradicts the whole forum system.
there is a few bands out there (IN MY OPINION) that are just as good as any band from back in the day, but not many.

there`s nothing i love more than a really good rock band--lola ray has to be my favorite at the moment. they have kick ass straight up rock songs and they`re on tour right now--i saw them last week at bb kings in nyc--they were so awesome! anyone in the new york area on the 21st of april should not miss their show at irving plaza--it`s gonna be so much fun!

AAF Sucks, Puddle Of Mud sucks, Blink 182 sucks, really all of the poppy punk rock sucks.

those bands are cool, but I like crossfade, system of a down, nirvana, evanescens, nickleback, my chemical romance, andgreen day. Just to name a few!!

I have a big passion for all genres of rock, I think rock is so beautiful and inspiring. All those great bands, singers and songwriters, all those people who express themselves through their wonderful music have influenced my life a lot!

Hey surfgirl21, That`s awesome. I`m glad I found someone that feels that way. It`s nice to find someone you can be in harmony with. Plus, we are talking about Rock N` Roll and what`s better than that, right? I gotta hand it to ya, Rock has really helped me through my life too. It`s actually the only thing that has given me inspiration. It gave me the comfort in knowing that not all people of the media are fake and driven by high-rate fashion lines. When you look at pop, or rap music, All the artists appear to act the same/dress similarly, but with Rock N` Roll every band has their own style that is unique from one another`s.
