Vocals: Freddie Mercury, Robert Plant, Geddy Lee (bias, sorry)
Guitar: Joe Satriani, Alex Lifeson, Jimmy Page
Bass: Geddy Lee, Flea, Chris Squire
Drummer: Neil Peart, John Bonham, Stewart Copeland
PS: If you have NEVER seen Rush LIVE your opinion may be ignorant. They don`t call them the "Rush All-Stars" for nothing. The Peart bashing in here is laughable.

Chris Adler from lamb of god... wouldn`t call AMAZING!!!
Dave Lombardo you would, they don`t call him (the human tornado) for nothing. The sheer speed around the kit that`s amazing whether he`s playing fast or slow he is very unique and creative. As i posted for the drummer: joey jordison that`s only because he got me into playing drums,my idol and it would be great to see him jamming with my other fav musicians. But as far as i`m concerned no one plays triplets as fast and precise as dave lombardo from slayer.

well its all a mater of opinion. but as far as raw talent in music:
its jimi hendrix maybe eric ( not slash u fools )
peart and ginger barker are 2 drummers i personally like a lot, but it goes bonzo then keith moon as far as greatest of all time... ( i am a drummer ;p )
bassists i like flea. its cheezy cause he is so popular, but he can kill a bass.
and vocals imma go with bob plant from led zep cause i hate queen.
and there u have it the real best rock musicians.

these may be person preferences, but whatever here it goes
Vocals- Freddy Mercury, Roger Daltrey
Guitar- Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page
Bass- Geddy Lee, Flea
Drums- Neil Peart, John Bonham
Also, a lot of you have forgot to mention best writing. In my opinion, the best writer of all time has got to be Kurt Cobain, he`s very creative, and influential.
Props to Janis Joplin as well, can`t forget the ladies of Rock n` Roll!

Umm, these people that are saying Travis Barker must have brain problems. Barker is a good drummer, but no where near the best. Scott Raynor was ten times the drummer Barker will ever be. That said, Neil Peart could run a marathon while other drummer were doing the fun run.

I would say... led zeppelin!!!! well if i had to break em up..
vocal - Freddy mercury f*in rocks
guitar - Jimmy page... hands down, no contest
backup - slash (just for the look!!!)
Bass - I like flea... but you all dismiss John Paul Jones from Zeppelin... hes doing great stuff in the background that many ppl dont listen for, but he does WAY more than progressions. I would say hes one of the top ten bassists of all time
Drums - John Bonham - If youve ever seen him live you`d wet your pants. Hed go on for 20 minutes on a solo, playing the set with his hands for half the solo. His hands would be covered in blood and hed just bash away... He died from drinking 70 shots of vodka in like an hour... rock and roll!!!
