ok the first list was great but here is mine,
Vocals - Geddy Lee - because no one matches his voice be it high pitch or hard rock he is all over, which makes him my best.
Guitare- Alix Lifeson the man is un recognized for his amazing talents in the 2112 album, plus i think he is equal to page and hendrix but since he has been around longer his seniority pulls rank,
Bass - Geddy Lee - mainly cause he can play and sing at the same time which is amazing for a bassist to do, plus his work in instramental songs such as YYZ are amazing ( if u dont believe me d-load YYZ)
Drummer- Niel Peart yah he takes the cake, he has been the influence of so many drummers plus in songs such as O Baterista ( the drum song as one so lightly put it) are pure insanity. off the subject he rights all of rush`s songs which are great as well.
OHHH did anyone notice anything? They are all from RUSH! thats because they are the single greatest rock band ever. and dont try pulling non of that beatle or zepplin crap cause while they are good there not canadian, which beats english fatheads any day ( i am also aware that the english colonized canada, so no replies to my hipocracies)

No one comes close to Gary Lucas, in my humble opinion. Best vocalist is Jeff Buckley. The two of them together were absolute m*a*g*i*c.

i would say the best drummer has got to be mitch mitchell from the jimi hendrix experience, why he never gets much credit for the music i don`t know, you should listen to `i don`t live today` and really all of the jimi hendrix experience first 3 albums to agree, plus none of his stuff is actually basic and never stays the same through out the songs

slashisagod is a moron. Flea is one of the greatest, and unique bassists out there. Some unmentioned notable musicians would have to be Travis Barker, fast and an inspiration to lots of drummers today,Kurt Cobain, solely for his untouchable voice, John Frusciante, for his original styles, and John Paul Jones on bass. Keith Moon, Neil Peart, John Bonham and all those other guys were great but my band would have to be...
Guitar--Jimi Hendrix, Jimi Page, and Slash (TIE)
Bass--Flea
Vocals--Kurt Cobain(for the pain and distinctivness of his voice)
Drums-- Mike Portnoy
*Another unmentioned great would have to be Dave Navarro of Jane`s Addiction
