Vocalist: Freddie Mercury or Robert Plant
Guitarist: Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton or David Gilmour
Bassist: John Entwhistle
Drummer: John Bonham or Keith Moon

Why do people keep naming Geddy Lee as the best bassist. Rush is so crap.

The fastest guitarist of all time is yngwie malmsteen, no question. But hes not the best, i think that the best is Jimmy page or Eddie Van Halen. But my favorite is Alex Lifeson. As for bass, Geddy Lee, no question. Vocalist, i would have to say is either David Lee Roth or Robert Plant. And for drums, either alex van halen or neil peart. actually, neal peart beats alex by a nose.

Vocals - Brock Lindow (36 Crazyfists)

Guitar - Dimebag Darrell (Pantera, Damageplan) & Zakk Wylde (Ozzy, Black Label Society)

Bass - Tim Commerford (Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave)

Drums - Tommy Lee (Motley Crue)

I think that lineup would be quite interesting. Dimebag and Zakk would be unbelievable. No doubt some of the heaviest riffs in histroy would be written. Although Tim C has a somewhat funk edge to him in Rage, he has the skills and speed to lay down some crazy bass riffs. Tommy Lee is the most energetic drummer i can think of, and thats all that matters. And Brock Lindow to me is the best vocalist around, and he`s sensational live.

Vocalist: Top three are Paul McCartney, Freddy Murcury and Paul Rogers. Best is Fred Mercury.

Guitarist: Top three are Eddy Van Halen, Yngiwe Malmsteen and Brian May. Best is Yngwie Malmsteen...By far.

Bassist: Geddy Lee...No questions asked.

Drummer: Neil Pert...Undeniably the best drummer...possibly the best instrument player of all time.

Keith Moon is way better than Neil Peart and since you named !***** Paul Mcartney as one of your top vocalist you should just exclude yourself from musical discussion.

Best vocalist I think would be Matthew Barlow x-Iced Earth
Without a doubt the best bassists would be the Black Sabbath dude and John Myung
On the guitars Jimmy Hendrix, Steve Vai and John Petrucci
And on the drumms i think that Mike Portnoy wears the crown
