hey, someone posted this site ages ago; http://zmeba.free.fr/frame.htm - so will you morons please stop asking for Butterflies and Hurricanes cos it`s there in it`s entirety. But I`m warning you, it`s bl00dy hard. The pre-solo bit is alternating semi quaver arpeggios in contrary motion, and it`s impossible to coordinate, I don`t know how he does it. To give you an idea of how hard it is - the solo, you know, the fecking impressive hardout piano bit? Yeah, that`s the EASY part.
The beginning of Screenager is taken from Rachmaninov`s Prelude in C# minor, which, if you haven`t heard yet, I suggest you go forth and find, because it is excellent. In Your World is easy enough to work out by ear.
What I`m looking for is Piano Thing. Does anyone know where I can find this? Please email me if you find anything - smylingpolitely@hotmail.com

I didn`t insult you, I just pointed out that what you were looking for was right under your noses. Well, maybe I did insult you, but it was justified. So yeah, you should help me find Piano Thing cos I helped you find Butterflies and Hurricanes (and basically every other Muse song ever EXCEPT Piano Thing). Well, you know, you don`t have to, but it`d be nice and all.

After months and months of hard work the Musers at the official message board came up with the sheet music to Piano Thing.
I think.
Have a look in the Kit and Tab forum at www.muse.mu/board
I have the Powerpoint file to it somewhere (pages and pages), but as I am on vacation right now I can`t use my home computer.
Have fun.
And things.

I`m surprised how easy it is!    04:40 on Thursday, August 26, 2004

When you listen to space dementia you are thinking, "christ, how does he do it?" but once you have the sheet music in front of you... I learnt to play all of it off by heart in less than a week... and I`m only 15!

Anybody know what that little piece we hear on the hullabaloo bonus dvd at about 19:20 through the dvd is? I`m almost sure i`ve heard it before!

I do agree that the intro and even the verse part of space dementia is easier to play than it sounds, but I cannot say the same about the chorus. Although less "impressive" sounding, it`s much more technical and employs arpeggiated chords (like many muse songs) but they change rapidly, often having 2 or 3 chord changes within a bar. It`s just hard to learn because it isn`t easy to remember, therefore I found it takes much longer to learn. Overall a brilliant song however... also would anybody know where to get a copy of the sheet music to the songs where everyone is saying space dementia came from?

There is a part in space dementia that is almost a rip off from Rachmaninov`s Piano concert no. 2
