I was in a store yesterday and heard a popular song by a male singer and the chorus is `alleluia`. I have this running through my head, and want to find out who the artist is. I know I also heard it recently on some TV show used at a dramatic moment, maybe on the West Wing? Anyone have any ideas?

I think this song was played in the first shrek movie. the part when they are walking together and fiona and shrek make each other teh ballons out of a snake and a frog...hope this helps
