hey i have just started to play the tenor sax and i was wondering where to find good books on how to improve your skills and learn some playing techniques

Almost any public library will have at least a handful of books on the saxophone. You may want to look into borrowing some of them. Your school library may have some as well, but it`s not quite as likely.

You can find all kinds of books like these at a music store.
