How are Schreiber bassoons? I haven`t played bassoon since high school (over 10 years ago) and would like to play again. (I switched from alto sax to bassoon in 10th grade because our band had an abundance of sax players and no bassoons!) I`ll have to purchase one because you can`t rent them in this area. As you all know, they`re expensive, but I think I can get a decent price on an Schreiber S13 or S16. Any thoughts?
Also, does anyone know what it means if a bassoon is a "conservatory" model?
Thanks!
(P.S. - I`ve been reading all your old posts... you guys are a hoot!)
