Hey~

I know most of you love percussion and everything but don`t you think that playing cymbols for marching band as the only instrument is pretty g.a.y??? I`m tryin` to figure out if I should learn flute or clarinet since the only (marching) instrument I play is oboe.

The cymbols are cool. There is nothing wrong with them.

i play snare in marchin band and we all give the cymbals a hard time but there just as hard as oboeppl just say all u do is hit them but there r hundreds of ways 2 play them

i KNOW that cymbals aren`t the easiest things in the world! i also know they require special technique and not just "clang, clang, band, crash!" im just saying....is there any point to playing them if there are gonna be at least 4 other ppl playing them for marching season anyways???
