hello i am 12 years old and have been playin the violin for 3 years. my teacher really wants me to learn vibrato. i really need help to try to do it right and can someone please help me cause i just cant get a good sound out of it so please i really want to learn it. i am working on a vivaldi piece right now and with vibrato the 2nd movemoent would sound really good. please give me some advice i think i almost have vibrato but i just need a little more help with it.

Im learning vibrato also and im working on a Vivaldi as well. We might be doing the same one. But anyways i dont know if i could be much of a help...but what do you need help with? Do you take private lessons?

i do take private lessons and i learned to do vibrato just a week ago if you are learning, some sdvice i would give is to relax your fingers and move your first finger joint and wrist toward you and then away from you. try sliding your finger up and down the finger board and then make fatser and shorter movements then try the first thing i said again to see if you strenthed your fingers i hope that is not confusing and hope it helps.
