Hello! I`ve decided to buy I cello recently, and I found one but I`m not sure if I should buy it or not. It`s a 4/4 Menzel, comes with a hard-case (a pretty nice one) and a bow, all for 750$CAN. I`m a beginner, so I`m not really looking for the best one ever. I just wanted to know if it`s a good price for that cello or if I should get a better one. Do you think I can find a used one that is less expensive? (that one is new)

OMG!
lol
I have that exact cello. I bought it second hand, and it had a big ass crac in it (got it three years old, for 300$ with the case). I have been told that the bow that came with it is worth alot. The case it great, and has prevented alot of expensive repairs, and really advertises that ur a musician...lol. The cello itself, according to my teach, sounds really good for the price (and the crac). I love the color. And, if you look at the ticket inside it, it says that it is made in China. That`s the reason for the low price. I have a few friends who swear on buying their instruments in china, because you can get good quality for really cheap.
Basically, I love my menzel. Haven`t had many problems with it, mind yoyu I have had about 600$ in repairs on it(but, again, it wasn`t kept in the best of conditions...was NEVER played). And, a 3000$ cello in a soft case (or a hard one for like, 500$) isn`t really worth the money, unless you feel the need to spend alot.

I really hope this helps!!!
